Terms of Use (TOU) Last updated: [July 25, 2025]
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (TOU) define the conditions for using the ALOLAO service, accessible at www.alolao.com.
2. Description of the ALOLAO Service
ALOLAO is a platform that allows users to transmit digital memories to a future date via a secure QR code. Users can upload multimedia messages (videos, letters, documents, etc.) and make them accessible only to the intended recipient.
3. How the Service Works
ALOLAO is a digital platform offering a one-time payment service, with no subscription. It allows our clients to schedule and send delayed messages. This service can be shared or gifted, physically or digitally, in the form of a QR code, making the delivery simpler and faster, and also allowing this gesture to be accompanied by a gift created by you or purchased from our partner store.
4. Security and Privacy
Messages are encrypted and stored on secure servers. Access is restricted to the intended Recipient via a personal QR code and a protected account. No advertising or data resale is performed. The Recipient will receive their messages in their ALOLAO Recipient account. Each delivered message will be available for viewing and downloading by the Recipient for a period of 90 days. After this period, the message will be automatically deleted from our servers.

As a result:
U.S. authorities may, under tightly regulated circumstances, request access to hosted data, including that of European citizens.

– Certain technical traces (logs, IP addresses) may be temporarily retained for security purposes or in case of legal obligations.
