1️⃣ What is ALOLAO?
ALOLAO is an online service that lets you send personal messages (videos, photos, texts, audios, letters, PDFs) to your loved ones at a future date. Each message is linked to a unique, secure QR code. It’s an emotional legacy you create for years to come.
2️⃣ How does a dynamic ALOLAO QR code work?
Purchase and storage creation: Choose between digital storage from our Digital Store or storage linked to a physical product on our Partner Store. The product QR code is scanned to purchase and activate storage, creating the sender account.
Sharing and security options:
Send QR code via email to the chosen primary recipient, without a secret code.
Secure access with a secret code, given to the primary recipient. Only the person with this code can initiate the creation of the primary recipient account, ensuring controlled access. This code is automatically replaced by the recipient’s password once the account is activated.
Primary recipient account creation: The primary recipient uses the QR code (and secret code if set) to create their account, securing access to messages.
Secondary recipients management: After creating the primary account, each scan can trigger a request to become a secondary recipient. The primary recipient can accept or reject these requests from their account, keeping full control over access.
With ALOLAO dynamic QR codes, your digital messages and memories remain secure, while allowing you to share content with multiple recipients in a controlled and confidential way.
3️⃣ Can I share my messages with multiple recipients?
Yes. As a sender, you have two options:
Separate storage per recipient: Buy a distinct storage space for each person, ideal for sending different messages to each recipient.
Single storage with primary recipient: Choose a primary recipient who can add or remove secondary recipients. Perfect for sharing the same message with multiple people, e.g. children, while letting the primary recipient manage secondary access.
4️⃣ Does the recipient have to pay?
No. Messages are free for recipients.
5️⃣ How are my messages protected?
Messages are encrypted and securely stored. Only the recipient can access them on the scheduled date. ALOLAO is GDPR compliant and does not sell personal data.
6️⃣ Can I modify or delete a message before its scheduled date?
Yes, as long as the message has not yet been delivered. However, the storage space allocated when creating a message remains reserved for the entire duration of the plan, even if the message is later modified or deleted. This ensures the reliability of the service and the consistency of storage plan renewals, both in time and capacity.
7️⃣ Is storage unlimited?
No. Choose from 1 GB, 5 GB, or 10 GB. You can upgrade if needed.
8️⃣ Can I schedule a message for a specific date?
Yes. Set the exact date and time during message creation. You can also select the time zone (GMT) to ensure delivery at the desired local time, anywhere in the world.
9️⃣ Can I schedule a posthumous message?
Yes. ALOLAO allows safe and respectful delivery of posthumous messages.

1️⃣ How do I use a received QR code?
Scan the QR code or use the access link sent by email. If a secret code is set by the sender, enter it to secure access. Then create your recipient account to personalize your space and receive notifications when new messages arrive.
2️⃣ Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything works in your web browser, no download required.
3️⃣ When will messages be accessible?
Messages are accessible starting from the sender’s chosen date and remain available for 90 days.
4️⃣ Will I receive a notification?
Yes, if you activate email alerts. You can also choose not to receive notifications and log in anytime to check messages.
5️⃣ What happens after viewing a message?
Messages are available for download from your ALOLAO inbox or email for 90 days. After that, they are automatically deleted to protect privacy and GDPR compliance.
6️⃣ Are my personal data protected?
Yes. ALOLAO is GDPR compliant and maintains full confidentiality.
7️⃣ Can I forward my QR code to someone else?
Yes. Initially intended for the primary recipient, who can share the QR code or allow others to request secondary recipient access. The primary recipient controls approvals and can revoke access anytime.
8️⃣ Is it easy for non-tech-savvy users?
Yes. No installation is needed. Just scan, create an account, and access messages.
9️⃣ Can I opt out of receiving messages?
Yes. Activate “Do not receive messages” in your account. Selecting this option will not affect the secondary recipients.
🔟 How long are messages accessible?
Available for 90 days after release, then automatically deleted.

Yes. Purchase a QR code digitally via the Digital Store or physically via the Partner Store. This QR code can:
Be used to send personal messages via a sender account.
Be gifted, with or without a storage plan.
Note: You can buy storage without creating a sender account. The recipient can activate the space and secure it under their name when ready.
